Molly's Wedding Shower

Molly's wedding day is quickly approaching.  Less than five weeks.  34 days, to be exact.  But who is counting?  Okay, we are all counting!  We are very excited for Molly and Aaron to be married and begin their "happily ever after"!
Last weekend my sister-in-law Jillian and I hosted a bridal shower for Miss Molly, along with tons of help from my mom and my friend Lisa.
The event was a success, and our bride was truly showered in love and loot!

Summer Lovin'

Our first week of summer has been a fun one! The kids and I are currently on a California adventure, and here are some of the highlights so far.

Ice cream at Prince Puckler's in Eugene is a perfect pit stop on a road trip!

Reunited with Coco!

Green grass and blue sky = summer lovin'

Nothing is quite like the humor of a 3 year old.

Joe can always be found shooting hoops in the front yard.

Mmmm, Leatherby's!!

We went to the theater to see a movie, and Max wore his goggles the whole time.

Maxin' and relaxin'
And then we missed Devon... so we flew him down to join us on his days off from work.

He had missed us too!

And In-N-Out was a perfect California treat.

Stay tuned for Molly's bridal shower...

Aunt Molly

Summer has begun!
Lucy and Joe have finally finished school, and my mom and my sister Molly are visiting from California, so it has been an exciting week.  We've even seen some blue sky and sunshine!

Aunt Molly is pretty much a rock star around here.
I strongly believe that all children need an Aunt Molly. She rocks.

Preschool Graduation

Sigh.
Lucy graduated from preschool.  Already.
Remember her first day of school?  Wasn't that, like, just last week?  No? September?
Now she is ready for kindergarten.
Sigh,

The ceremony was simply adorable, and I could not have been more proud of our girl.  The class performed songs, recited Bible verses, and received their certificates.  Devon couldn't attend, but Grandma Donna was there with me and Max.

During graduation, I did my best to control Max, take video, take photos, be attentive, smile at Lucy, and not cry like a baby.  I only did an okay job of all of it, but here is what I've got to share. Oh, and you are only obligated to watch the video if you happen to be my mother or my father.

There was a reception in Lucy's classroom after the ceremony, and big books were distributed to each student, containing pictures that were taken throughout the year and a selection of artwork. What a treasure!

And then there were my many attempts to get a shot of Max and Lucy together.  Max made this a very difficult task.

So, when can we get that boy in school???
